I bought these beautiful strawberries this morning. They were being sold outside the Church and the proceeds were going to an orphanage in Saigon. $5 for a lovely bowl full - a bargain for me and, even better, in aid of a good cause.
They have been sitting on the kitchen bench, as were some roses from the garden and a bunch of asparagus which we will have for dinner, when I realised that three of my favourite things about Spring were all together so I took their picture.
