Spring has sprung, the grass is riz, I wonder where the birdies is

It is still August, but we have been having the most incredible Spring weather all month. All the sun has brought out my primulas. They would have to be one of my all time favourite flowers.




The roses are sending out their lovely new red leaves which promise so much beauty when the flowers appear in a few weeks.




The azaleas are blooming.


The jasmine buds are fat and popping open sending out their fabulous perfume.


I even have my very own Arum lily.


All things considered, it has been a very short winter this year and I can't say I'm sorry about that. Give me sunshine and warmth any day.
