Chicken and egg

My mum (who, as I have mentioned many times before, is almost 90) was trawling around on the internet the other day when she found this.


She told me about it with great excitement and suggested that it would be lovely to make for the small one for Easter. I groaned because I need another project like a hole in the head, but as soon as I saw the pictures I was reaching for the knitting needles. Honestly, I can't believe I have made this, I have so many other things I should be doing.

Oh well, you know what they say - you should always listen to your mother. This is going to make such a cute Easter gift.
