Five weeks to go

Slow progress has been made. At least the gaping hole in the middle of the quilt has been filled thanks to the arrival of some more fabric.

I have now sewn up the rows, but not yet joined them together and I think the quilt is looking much smaller than was envisaged. The obvious solution would be to add borders to it, but that is going to change the look we wanted. It is time for a conference with my 'client'.

With only five weeks to go, I am feeling a lot less confident than I was two weeks ago.
