Early spring

It never ceases to amaze me that while the northern hemisphere is now enjoying spring flowers, we here in the southern hemisphere can enjoy the same flowers in our autumn.

How lucky we are that these sweet little pansies will flower right through winter and into our spring and we don't have to undergo months of snow and cold before they pop their little faces out of the ground.

These have appeared in my garden this week and I am looking forward to seeing many more of them before long.
