A mystery marathon

A mystery no longer. It has taken a while, but I finally have a quilt top. I was going to wait until I had finished it before posting pictures, but as I have decided to do hand quilting it is going to take some time before I have a finished quilt.

It has taken me over a year to get this far. I wonder how much longer it will be before I can really say it's finished.

Since taking these pictures I have made my quilt sandwich and I now have many nights of hand sewing ahead of me. I might have to wait until the weather gets a bit cooler as being covered by a large quilt while I stitch does not hold much appeal at the moment.
