A taste of summer

It doesn't seem that long ago when:  a) I was amazed to find passionfruit on the vine in the winter time; and b) I worried that the fruit would ripen during the cold months.

It seems I need not have worried as we have been enjoying the most delicious passionfruit for several weeks now. Absolutely lovely spooned over some creamy yoghurt.   Although it is now officially spring, we are yet to see much improvement in the weather so  a taste of summer to give us hope that the warmer weather will soon return has been very welcome.

 
I can't say we have had a bumper crop, but any crop in the winter is a bonus in my opinion.
