Spring

The tulip fields in Melbourne were spectacular and so colourful.

And the flowers in the Royal Botanic Gardens at Cranbourne were simply breathtaking.

But, to me, nothing says spring like a little posy of flowers picked from the garden and popped haphazardly into a small vase.

On my return from Melbourne, I found my garden full of roses and little spring flowers.  It was almost as though the garden was saying 'welcome home'.

They have been cheering me up and easing the pain of being separated from wonderful family and friends in Melbourne.
