The cut cloth goes country

The cut cloth spent the Easter weekend in the country.
We fed the sheep
and the cows
and explored deserted cottages.

Of course, there was the obligatory Easter egg hunt.
Lots of chocolate, food and wine were consumed, games were played and a good time was had by all. However, it was so distressing to see the countryside so dry and brown. We city folks can return to the relative green of our gardens, but the country people have to live with this every day. My heart goes out to them.
