Favourite Time of Day

It's that lovely time of the year when the evenings start to get cool and the sun goes in earlier each day. It's time to down tools, whether in the garden or the sewing room, close the curtains, light a candle, turn on the lamps and think about dinner.
This is my favourite time of day. The day's work is done and the evening beckons. Will I read, will I knit or will I sew? Decisions, decisions. But before any decisions are made I sit down with a glass of red wine and a dish of olives.
It's a good life!
