Outdoor activities

It has been a week of outdoor activities enjoying the beautiful summer weather. Firstly we packed good food, good wine and good friends into the car and headed off for a night under the pines at one of my favourite venues in Perth, the Somerville Theatre.


On arrival everyone finds a spot on the grass to enjoy their meal, then, as the sun begins to set, we all retreat to our previously reserved deck chairs and settle in to watch the movie.


The one we saw was "I've loved you so long" starring Kristen Scott-Thomas. It was very powerful and I think she deserves an Oscar for her performance.

Last night we went to a concert in the grounds of Government House to celebrate Australia Day. Once again we packed up a picnic and joined thousands of flag wavers to rejoice in our multicultural country.
