Images from a week in the country

We have just spent some time in the country and returned home to a sick family. As a result, there has been no sewing, no blogging, no gardening - not much of anything really. The break away from the routine was good, but it was sad to see the countryside so dry. Fortunately by the time we left, the rains had come and the dams and creeks had begun to fill. It was a beautiful sight.

was relieved by some quirkiness in the township





and some temptations at the local Emporium

and autumn and spring all in the one day. How does that work?
