Double trouble, double fun

What do you do when your daughter Melissa, and son-in-law Stewart, tell you that they are soon to be parents of twins and, ergo, you are about to be nana of twins? After you have picked yourself up from the floor, where you have fallen rather abruptly, you start thinking and planning. You think about the cot quilts to be made. Yes, that is quilts with an S. You think about the little knits you made for Baby C and which now need a partner. You wonder if you can finish the Vignette mystery quilt before the big event (probably not). You wonder if you have enough freezer space for all the frozen meals which will need to be made (No) so you plan to remedy that. You start to do some online shopping - yes they are identical boys.
Above all you give thanks for this miracle and for the blessing which has been granted to our family. Melissa is about half way through her pregnancy, she is keeping well and the babies are also well. We hope and pray that this continues. Now if only I could get my hands on one of these twin prams. What a statement that would make as I walk the babies around the lake.

I can't wipe the grin off my face! - Yes, we are blessed and we pray too, that M and the babies will be well right through the pregnancy. Hugs and kisses to Nana too.
